Energy Data Collection Method


General Principles

The priority levels of the collection methods from high to low are management information systems (such as ERP/MIS, etc.), production monitoring and management systems (such as SIS/MES, etc.), production process control systems (such as PLC/DCS/FCS, etc.), On-site instrumentation, manual filling, etc.

System Docking

Energy consumption monitoring terminal equipment can be connected with other information business systems through interfaces to obtain data. Generally, there are industrial control systems (such as PLC/DCS/FCS, etc.), production monitoring and management systems (such as SIS/MES, etc.), management information systems (such as ERP/MIS, etc.).

Instrument Collection

The energy consumption monitoring terminal equipment can collect relevant data regularly through on-site instruments, and automatically collect data according to the time interval set by the collection task to ensure the integrity of the data.

Fill in Manually

For data that cannot be obtained through automatic collection, it can be filled in manually.

Data Docking


Reserved Government Platform Interface

Reserve Enterprise System Interface


The software of the online energy consumption monitoring system reserves the interface for docking with other information systems of the enterprise (such as ERP, MES, inspection and testing, OA, etc.) to receive the provided production, planning, cost, quality and other information data.

(1) Collection of management information system. If the energy consumption unit management information system and energy consumption unit resource plan management system contain energy consumption data, it is advisable to obtain energy-related data through corresponding interfaces (such as SQL, etc.).

(2) Collection of production monitoring management system. Energy-consuming units have built enterprise production monitoring and management systems (such as SIS, MES, etc.). Energy data should be obtained through corresponding interfaces (such as SQL, etc.) to obtain energy-related data.

(3) Industrial control system acquisition. If the energy consuming unit has installed an industrial control system (such as DCS, PLC, FCS, etc.), and the control system already contains energy-related data, the data can be obtained from the corresponding system through OPC and other methods.
