Passive Wireless Temperature Sensoring System

Project Overview

Power equipment such as high-voltage switch cabinets, high-voltage cable connectors, knife-gate switches and other important equipment, in long-term operation, are prone to surface oxidation corrosion, loose fastening bolts, aging electrical connection equipment and other problems, plus many power equipment long-term overload Operation, which causes the temperature of the contact point to rise gradually, which in turn accelerates oxidation and a vicious cycle. Even if there are various safety accidents such as melting, burning, and explosion, the losses can not be recovered. When high-voltage equipment runs due to overload or contact oxidation or poor contact, it often causes the temperature of relevant parts of the high-voltage equipment to rise. Overheating will cause insulation aging or even burn the insulation material, causing short-circuit failure and major economic losses.

At present, the contact temperature monitoring methods of high-voltage cabinets are limited to manual inspection of joints and body temperature, and there is no good online monitoring method for hidden danger locations such as switch cabinet circuit breaker contacts and large number of highly qualified maintenance personnel for equipment management.

System Composition

Passive sensing system make uninterrupted measurement of line current/temperature through technologies such as the Internet of Things, No power source, and low power consumption design, which fulfill Real-time detection of overcurrents, abnormal start-stops, and potential safety hazards in electrical lines and equipment.

Combined with the big data analysis of the platform, early warning of equipment start and stop, fine management of equipment operation data, and early warning of hidden dangers of electrical safety of lines/ equipment are realized.

The sensing system can effectively solve the problems of traditional power sensors such as power supply, tedious installation, high cost, and data transmission. It can effectively monitor equipment, production energy, and electrical safety hazards, and achieve self-correction and self-examination of abnormal problems and government / The purpose of effective supervision of grid companies.

Solution Design

           Current Loop

HYLR-W passive power sensing sensor is an open-close wireless current sensor that integrates technologies such as electromagnetic energy collection, low power consumption, and RF communication.

As long as a 3A current is passed in the loop, energy can be obtained, and the line current can be measured by opening and closing to realize current data collection and transmission.

HYLR-W has strong electromagnetic energy collection and high measurement accuracy. The shell material is made of PC alloy, which has good flame retardant properties and stability. The sensor requires no external power supply, no internal battery is safe and reliable, no external wiring, no power failure installation, and easy to use. Suitable for monitoring equipment start-stop, equipment operating conditions, line operating status, etc

          Wireless Sensor

HYJT-W passive wireless temperature sensor is ultra-small wireless temperature

sensor that integrates electromagnetic energy collection, low power consumption, RF communication and other technologies.

As long as a 3A current is passed in the loop, energy can be obtained, and the

temperature of the electrical contact can be measured in a contact manner to

achieve temperature data collection and transmission. It solves the shortcomings of traditional wireless temperature sensors, such as short life, large volume, low

protection level, and difficult maintenance. It is an IoT "thermometer for electric

equipment”.
