The ASDU-LE industrial embedded computer features two external RS485 interfaces with completely independent power supplies, ensuring complete electrical isolation between each interface and the others. This independent power supply design effectively reduces crosstalk to the RS485 bus in complex electromagnetic environments, thus improving the reliability of the entire system.
Internally, the ASDU-LE can integrate a highly reliable industrial 4G full-network module or a WiFi module. Combined with an efficient and stable power supply solution, this provides effective protection for long-term network operation of the wireless module. The machine also integrates comprehensive fault recovery circuitry, effectively addressing the self-recovery functionality required in unattended applications.
The ASDU-LE wireless industrial embedded computer uses a mature, high-performance 32-bit processor with an ARM Cortex-A7 core and ARMv7-A instruction set architecture. The PCB design fully considers electromagnetic compatibility; to ensure the product meets the stability requirements of industrial equipment, the entire board uses industrial-grade wiring to guarantee the integrity of high-speed signals. High-quality PCB materials contribute to its superior stability. Meanwhile, fully automated batch surface mount technology (SMT) production effectively ensures consistent product quality across batches.
The power input design adopts an industry-leading ultra-wide step-down DC/DC solution, providing users with a DC 9~48V ultra-wide voltage input and supporting an AC power supply. The high-efficiency DC/DC step-down circuit effectively reduces heat generation, lowering the overall operating temperature and further improving reliability and lifespan for long-term uninterrupted operation. This also contributes to global energy conservation and environmental protection, reducing carbon emissions. The power input circuit employs a unique dedicated circuit design, capable of withstanding the highest level 4 (4KV) 1.2/50uS-8/20uS combined wave lightning strike test as specified in GB/T 17626.5-2019 standard. Multiple power protection measures, including anti-static, overcurrent, and reverse connection protection, effectively ensure reliable operation in harsh environments such as outdoor settings.
Integrated with one 100M/10M high-speed adaptive network card, the network card adopts three levels of lightning protection, anti-static protection, and anti-interference protection, capable of withstanding 2KV differential mode protection under the 10/700uS-5/320uS combined wave test in GB/T 17626.5-2019 standard. Two RS485/RS232 circuits adopt a fully electrical isolation design. The RS485 circuit adopts three levels of lightning protection and anti-static protection, supporting the highest level of 4KV protection under the 10/700uS-5/320uS combined wave test in GB/T 17626.5-2019 standard.
Integrated with an advanced high-security dedicated encryption chip, it provides professional encryption binding protection for user applications, ensuring reliable anti-theft protection for user development results. Each machine has a unique and tamper-proof physical ID number. After multiple encryption bindings with the user application, the application is virtually impossible to steal.
Fully compliant with CE, FCC, and RoHS certification standards, the stable hardware design ensures long-term normal operation without downtime. It supports a pure hardware-timed watchdog, suitable for unattended 24/7 operation environments. The ASDU-LE industrial embedded computer runs on a LINUX operating system with kernel version 5.10. External interface drivers are integrated, and basic operation demo code is provided. Users only need to focus on application function development, without needing to worry about underlying driver and hardware development.
